Jackson Estate
There is no shortage of adjectives to describe the Marlborough region of New Zealand. Vineyards are woven through valleys that blend into the breath-taking Marlborough sounds. The land is enveloped by vast stretches of coastline with their cool ocean breezes while being bathed in long, sunshine hours. It truly is a viticultural paradise.
Marlborough may be a youthful wine region on a global scale; however, Jackson Estate has a long-established connection with its land. The Stitchbury family farmed and nurtured their estate for over 160 years, and it was the fifth generation who first planted vines. Self-proclaimed modern pioneers, working with delicate precision and care of their environment set out by their forefathers and applying advanced winemaking techniques with the aim of producing wine in the most sustainable environmentally friendly way possible is the ethos behind Jackson Estate.
One can expect the world-loved, vibrant, fruit-led style of New Zealand wine but with a deeper backbone of minerality and savoury complexity that really showcases the handcrafted approach taken to their whole portfolio.
