Soberano
Soberano is a brandy with a well-decorated history. First registered over 100 years ago, its name was chosen to mark the friendship of the Gonzalez family and the then King of Spain.
After column distillation, the ageing process takes place in the historic Gonzalez Byass bodega in Jerez. American oak previously used for sherry is used for maximum aroma and flavour development, following the traditional Solera system.
Soberano 5 is aged for 5 years under the Solera system, has a gold colour with red tones. It has sweet notes of toasted caramel and touches of mature wood with a smooth, sweet and balanced finish.
Soberano 12 is aged for 12 years under the Solera system has an elegant mahogany colour with intense flashes of amber and copper tones. On the nose, the complex aromas of fine oak accompany balsamic, nuts, caramel and honey. The taste is rounded and velvety with a long finish.
