Beronia Gran Reserva 2007 has recently been named best Spanish red wine at the "Korea Wine Challenge". Meanwhile, Beronia Reserva 2009 won a gold medal at "Expovinos Colombia" in the category "High Quality Spanish Red Wines". Beronia Gran Reserva won the former award for the first time at the "Korea Wine Challenge", considered to be Korea’s major wine competition. Its jury, made up of Master Sommeliers, wine experts and wine press, selected, from a total of 560 samples from around the world, the best red wines from twelve countries. In the case of Spain, Beronia Gran Reserva, a wine that reflects the character of its terroir in La Rioja, was chosen the best. Beronia Reserva also triumphed at "Expovinos Colombia", one of the major wine conferences in South America. Awarded a gold medal in one of the most disputed categories of the contest –where 32 different wines competed– this enveloping Reserva, with a modern style full of potential, managed to impress the international experts who gathered at the event.
