Bodegas Tío Pepe renews its "Q for Tourist Quality"

Published on
Bodegas Tío Pepe has renewed the "Q for Tourist Quality" it was awarded in 2013. This way, the winery remains the only one with this certification, not only in the sherry making and production area but in all Andalusia. This recognition is only awarded after passing strict audits that ensure that all the services are provided with the highest quality and safety standards and top professionalism. The "Q for Tourist Quality" is granted by ICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality) and has the endorsement of the State Secretary for Tourism, the National Accreditation Body (ENAC) and Spain’s regional governments, all seeking to identify, promote and differentiate Quality Tourism in the country. Excellence and originality, as well as proximity to the visitor are the essence of Tío Pepe’s wine tourism offer, which seeks to surprise visitors and create fidelity and friendship bonds with all those that tour every hall and nook of these historic wineries. Experiential and unique initiatives such as the Tío Pepe Festival, the Sherrymaster or the incorporation of augmented reality are some examples of the activities carried out in these facilities that, with more than 200,000 visits every year, have become one of the most visited wineries both in Europe and worldwide.
