Finca Constancia and Talavera’s Red Cross unite against unemployment

Published on
Beatriz Paniagua –Manager and Winemaker at Finca Constancia– and Juan Carlos Santos –President of the Red Cross in the province of Toledo– have signed a framework agreement to create alliances that promote the insertion and the employability improvement of those participating in the Red Cross employment projects. This agreement aims, through social awareness actions, to promote and facilitate access to the labour market by unemployed citizens, as well as promote equality of opportunity and treatment by drawing attention to the skills of potential workers, regardless of their gender, age or origin. This alliance with Talavera’s Red Cross is in line with Finca Constancia’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy, whose purpose is to support solidarity projects that involve social, economic and environmental progress, stressing its commitment to working for the welfare of the most disadvantaged sectors. In this case, specific support has been provided for unemployed people over 45, who have completed the training programme "Harvest and Pruning Assistant", in the context of the Personalised Itineraries for Labour Insertion of the Red Cross’s Employment Plans. Finca Constancia is the first company to sign a framework agreement on employment, namely through the project "Alianzas: Social Entrepreneurial Challenge in the Field of Labour Integration", co-financed by the European Social Fund through Spain’s Ministry of Employment, the Social Security and Poises, the Operative Programme for Social Inclusion and Social Economy.
