The González Byass Foundation and Fundación Universo Accesible have recently signed an agreement of cooperation for the recovery of property “El Altillo”. With this agreement, the González Byass Foundation will be taking part in one of the most important social projects in Andalusia.
Restaurant Universo Santi, located in the estate, will feature an international training centre for catering to instruct people with disabilities, who will be employed at the first fine dining restaurant in the world with these characteristics.
With this signature, the González Byass Foundation helps to promote a project for social purposes, including the renovation of the gardens and house of the estate, which were built and inhabited by Manuel María González Angel, the founder of González Byass. Erected between 1860 and 1870, it was the place where he spent his last years.
