New success of the González Byass wineries in Mundus Vini

Mundus Vini, one of the main wine events in Europe, has awarded 2 Grand Gold Medals and 15 Gold Medals to the following wineries: González Byass (Designation of Origin Jerez), Viñas del Vero (D. of O. Somontano), Bodegas Beronia (Qualified D. of O. Rioja) and Finca Constancia (Castilla Regional Wine). More than 5,000 samples from 149 wine regions in the world have taken part in an event held in Germany, one of the leading countries in terms of consumption of Spanish wines and a key market for this Jerez-based Family of Wines.

Sherry González Byass

The jury, made up of 160 experts from the world of wine, awarded Grand Gold Medals to unique Matusalem Oloroso Sweet Very Old V.O.R.S and Néctar PX. Gold was also obtained by wine gems Fino Una Palma, Fino Dos Palmas, Fino Tres Palmas and VORS Del Duque, Apóstoles and Noé. The gold list is completed by top-end oloroso wines Alfonso, Amontillado Viña AB and Palo Cortado Leonor.

Viñas del Vero

Viñas del Vero, the leader winery in the Somontano wine region, has succeeded again in this international competition, in which Blecua 2008, Secastilla 2011 and Viñas del Vero Gewürztraminer 2015 Collection were each awarded a Gold Medal.

Bodegas Beronia

Beronia III a.C. 2011, a signature wine, genuine and elegant, has set its first personal best in Mundus Vini with a Gold Medal.

Finca Constancia

With this new international recognition, Altos de la Finca 2013, also awarded a Gold Medal, consolidates its position as best Tierra de Castilla wine. Finca Constancia Selección 2014 obtains the same result, repeating the success it achieved in the previous edition of Mundus Vini.
