"An elixir with a travelling soul" is how publication Actualidad Económica describes Nomad Outland Whisky, one of the 100 most innovative ideas of 2015. Each year, this magazine selects 100 products and services capable of breaking the rules of the sector. Among the best of 2015 is Nomad, the only premium spirit selected, described as "a lucid transgression of the laws of the sector, through which a different whiskey is created".
Nomad is a premium blended whiskey made from 30 varieties of malt whiskeys and grain from the Speyside area (Highlands, Scotland). The whiskeys, with an aging between 5 and 8 years, have matured together in oloroso barrels for the last 3 years. Finally, the resulting blend travels to Jerez, where it ages for a minimum of 12 months in barrels previously soaked in Pedro Ximénez, inside the Nomad Cellar at the González Byass Wineries.
This unique manufacturing process makes Nomad the first Outland Whisky in the markets of the world.
