This delicate Somontano white wines makes the leap to the big screen thanks to "Julieta". Emma Suarez and Adriana Ugarte, leading actresses in the latest film by Pedro Almodóvar, share some of their moments in the story with Viñas del Vero Chardonnay Collection, one of the best known wines from the Somontano winery.
This appearance in Julieta is the second time for Viñas del Vero in an Almodóvar film. Already in 2013, namely in comedy "I’m so Excited!", Viñas del Vero Gewürztraminer Collection was the wine featured in the film.
About "Julieta"
Pedro Almodóvar presents the story of a mother, Julieta, who lives in Madrid with her daughter Antía. Both suffer Xoan’s loss in silence –the father of Antía and Julieta’s husband. But sometimes pain does not unite people but tears them apart. When Antía turns 18, she leaves her mother, without a word of explanation. Julieta tirelessly seeks her, but all she finds is how little she knows about her daughter.
