The jury of competition VinoSub30 Spain 2017, composed entirely of young people under 30, have awarded a Great Gold Medal to Viñas del Vero Gewürztraminer 2016 and a Gold Medal to Altos de la Finca 2014.
The gem of Somontano
Viñas del Vero Gewürztraminer is made with the grapes from the "El Enebro" estate. This spot of north-facing loamy soil is located 400 meters above sea level and presents the best conditions for the Gewürztraminer variety to show all its potential. The result is a brilliant wine full of floral aromas, very silky on the palate and perfect to pair with salads, pasta, fish, seafood or exotic dishes.
The icon of Finca Constancia
Altos de la Finca, a perfect reflection of the soil of North Toledo, is a coupage of varieties Syrah and Petit Verdot, located at the highest, easternmost side of the Finca Constancia vineyard. After 18 months of aging in new French oak barrels, the result is a sweet and very expressive wine, perfect to accompany game dishes, red meats and cured cheeses.

Wine competition VinoSub30 aims to stimulate the responsible consumption of wine and disseminate its culture among young generations, as well as spread the preferences of young people in terms of wines. Created in 2004 in Buenos Aires, this innovative initiative has organised 19 editions that have been held in Argentina, Uruguay and Spain.
