The Tío Pepe Festival 2018 starts its warm-up period with the sale of tickets for the first performances. Luz Casal(August 12) and Sara Baras (August 14) with her new show "Sombras" are two of the artists that will take part in this fifth edition of the festival, which will be held from August 10 to 18. One more year, the González Byass Wineries in Jerez will host one of the major cultural events of the summer in Spain, which, in its latest edition, brought together more than 6,000 people.
The Tío Pepe Festival will also offer some exclusive, sensory experiences, such as the Dinners with the Stars, which will gather a selection of the best national Michelin Star Chefs. The public will also enjoy the Festival Dinners, which, paired with the best González Byass wines, will be held in some of the charming nooks and crannies of the winery, surrounded by century-old wine casks or under trellised ceilings. All of it seasoned with live performances at the TPF Club’s "The Village", which will round off all the days day of this unique event. It is worth highlighting that, as a novelty, in this fifth edition there will be an extensive programparallel to the Festival itself, which will include tastings and special visits, as well as a new series of events connected to fashion, design and haute couture that will offer workshops, master classes and exhibitions.
Throughout its five editions, the Tío Pepe Festival has become an event that surpasses the limits of a mere show to become a truly unique experience. It is along this double line –the presence of great international artists and a plural experience linked to the winery as a space for wine-tourism, gastronomy and culture– that the Tío Pepe Festival has acquired its full meaning as a singular, exceptional program in the summer festival calendar.
After the great success of the past editions, the fifth one reinforces and consolidates itself by extending the number of days from five to eight, and increasing its non-artistic offer.
