Del Duque, Apóstoles, Matusalem and Nectar PX have been awarded a Gold Medal each at Mundus Vini. More than 6,000 samples from the main wine regions of the world have entered this wine competition where, for the second consecutive year, the personality of the sherry wines made by the House of Tío Pepe has impressed the jury.
The jury of the competition, made up of renowned wine experts from all over the world, has acknowledged the quality and uniqueness of VORS Del Duque Amontillado, Apóstoles Palo Cortado and Matusalem Oloroso Dulce, three wine gems that have rested for more than 30 years in the González Byass cellars in Jerez. The list of winning wines also includes Néctar, a Pedro Ximénez that ages for 9 years in American oak barrels and stands out as an ideal dessert wine.
