Beronia, official sponsor of “The World’s 50 Best Restaurants”, is supporting the catering trade by taking part in “50 Best for Recovery”. Between 3rd and 12th July more than 100 experiences offered by the world’s top chefs will be up for auction in this fund-raising initiative. All the money raised will be used to provide support for restaurants all over the world. The lots being auctioned include a Nebuchadnezzar of Beronia Reserva 2015 signed by Matías Calleja, the winery’s winemaker, and an exclusive wine tourism experience for 10 people at the new winery located at the heart of La Rioja Alta.
Lovers of wine and gastronomy taking part in this global auction will have the opportunity to acquire a unique bottle size of Beronia Reserva 2015, one of the most special wines kept at the winery in Ollauri. Bottled in a Nebuchadnezzar – a 15-litre bottle – signed by Matías Calleja, this unusual Gran Reserva comes from a harvest classified as “Excellent”.
The second lot being donated by Beronia offers an exclusive wine tourism experience for 10 people. The visit, which will include a tour of Beronia’s new winery, will start where everything begins: the vineyard. It will then follow the delicate winemaking process and the day will culminate with a masterclass led by the winery’s winemaker, Matías Calleja, and a tasting specially designed for the occasion.
The full list of lots will be able to be viewed at www.50BestForRecovery.com from Monday 29th June, five days before the auction’s official opening.
