That is what Marigüena is all about: two relaxed sparkling wines that are ideal for drinking in company and at any time but always well chilled.
Viñas del Vero’s novelty for the summer is called Marigüena, a red and a white that pay tribute to nature and to ‘Marigüena’, the goddess who, according to Aragonese mythology, inhabited the mountains of Pyrenean Aragón. Known as the ‘Good Goddess’, Marigüena hears and sees everything, giving help to anyone who needs it. She exudes security, good feelings and optimism, just as these wines do. Almost divine, they inspire a sense of ease.
Younger lovers of adventures and mountains will find the taste of the Pyrenees and the smell of nature in both the red and the white Marigüena. Cheery, with fine bubbles, they reflect everything that is magical and original about Somontano and are perfect for drinking at home, in bars, both indoors and out, ‘de tardeo’ (late afternoon drinks), as an aperitif and with a barbecue. These are wines to drink, savour and enjoy whenever you are having some downtime.
Served very cold at 3-4oC, these two Marigüena wines are smooth and silky yet bursting with flavour. Inspired by the good goddess of nature, they are truly divine, a revelation with every sip.
