The New Tío Pepe En Rama is here!

Every spring, González Byass embarks on a time-honoured tradition, selecting the finest casks to create Tío Pepe En Rama, a Fino bottled in its purest, most expressive form. Now in its 16th edition, the 2025 release is drawn from 92 exceptional casks within the soleras of Macharnudo and Carrascal, forged by nature and nurtured by expertise. Under the guidance of our legendary winemaker Antonio Flores and his daughter Silvia, the selection captures the essence of the season and the vitality of the flor—a thick, healthy veil of yeast that has flourished following a mild winter and humid autumn.

Unfiltered and unclarified, this vibrant Fino presents as pale gold with a naturally hazy appearance. On the nose, it features an expressive mix of chalk, iodine, toasted almonds, and lemon zest, accompanied by fresh notes of sea breeze and chamomile. The palate is fresh, bone-dry, and intensely saline, with complex flavours of dried fruit and a hint of fresh sourdough, culminating in a long, elegant finish.

This year’s label, inspired by historic González Byass designs, features gold and green tones with vine leaf motifs—a tribute to the vineyards that shape this extraordinary wine.
