Finca Moncloa works consistently to recover an almost forgotten tradition: red wine in the province of Cádiz. The winery is reviving the indigenous Tintilla de Rota and aims to make the Arcos de la Frontera estate a leading name in these wonderful Spanish wines that date back to the 16th century.
Recovering the tradition of great red wine in Arcos de la Frontera.
Finca Moncloa
Finca Constancia is a firm commitment to recovering lost winemaking traditions. The positive results of the tests in experimental white and red variety plots we have conducted since1972 led to the purchase of 45 hectares in the Arcos de la Frontera area in 2000, where we have planted red varieties for the production of high-quality wine.
These wines are the result of the firm desire to recover this grape variety used in the 19th century. It almost died out in Marco de Jerez due to the expansion of Palomino monoculture used in the production of Brandy and Fino.
