28 Michelin stars toast with Del Duque Amontillado Muy Viejo V.O.R.S.

Publicada el
Del Duque Amontillado Muy Viejo V.O.R.S took active part in the gastronomic summit organised by chef Dani García (2 Michelin stars) at Hotel Puente Romano in Marbella. For the second year in a row, González Byass attended this event, where the Malaga chef prepared –together with other 28 Michelin stars– a series of striking "four-handed" culinary proposals to be paired with this unique sherry. With very limited production, Del Duque is a wine made by González Byass since its very beginnings. A result of the passion for wine of this Family of Wines, it represents two of González Byass’ mainstays: quality and authenticity. The solera of this V.O.R.S. comes from the first 16 sherry butts bought by Manuel Mara González, founder of González Byass, to the Duke of Medinaceli in 1835. Hence the name of this amontillado. Throughout the congress, which placed Marbella as the world’s capital of gastronomy, Del Duque paired dishes by top chefs such as Joan Roca (3 Michelin stars), Quique Dacosta (3 Michelin stars), Thomas Bühner (3 Michelin stars), Juan María Arzak (3 Michelin stars), Grant Achatz (2 Michelin stars), Pascal Borbot (3 Michelin stars), Andoni Luis Adúriz (2 Michelin stars), Ángel León (2 Michelin stars), Albert Adrià (2 Michelin stars), Nandu Jubany (1 Michelin star) and Ricard Camarena (1 Michelin star).
