The wine firm has become the first company to cooperate with the development of Jerez Motorcycling World Capital by renovating the building and the facilities of the Tío Pepe Circuit Tower. During a ceremony held at the Motor Museum, located at the Jerez circuit itself, a first donation agreement has been signed in the context of the event organised for the promotion of Jerez Motorcycling World Capital. This way, González Byass has become the first company to collaborate with the city of Jerez following the establishment of an Inter-administrative Commission in charge of all the donations made to the event. The donations of the wine firm to the Jerez Motorcycling World Capital will go to the renovation of the Tío Pepe Tower in the circuit, namely to update the image of the building and offer more functional services. The tower displays a giant bottle of Tío Pepe on its roof –a figure that has witnessed all the major sporting events since the inauguration of the circuit. Following the signing of this agreement, a basis for the organisation of a design competition will be established, the aim of which being the selection of the project that can best renovate the Tío Pepe Tower.
