The spirits business: Nomad Outland Whisky is “The second most innovative launch”

Publicada el
Nomad Outland Whisky, born in Scotland and raised in Jerez, is considered as the second most innovative launch according to trade magazine “The Spirits Business”, specialising in distillates. Jerez de la Frontera, February 2015.- Nomad Outland Whisky has positioned itself as the second most innovative launch in 2014, according to a list by magazine The Spirits Business. This publication, the only one in the world entirely devoted to distillates, chose only launches that could transcend the limits of their sector and stand out for their innovative spirit. Among the 50 launches selected is Nomad, with a double aging process that makes it a true whisky gem. Nomad is a premium blended made from 30 different malt and grain whiskies –mainly from Speyside, in the Highlands– that have been aged between 5 and 8 years. These whiskies age for an average of six years in Scotland –the last three blended in butts that have been previously soaked in oloroso to ensure perfect assembly. Subsequently, the blend travels to Jerez, where it refines in barrels that have contained old Pedro Ximénez for a minimum of 12 months, under the unrepeatable conditions of the iconic González Byass wineries in Jerez.   Nomad Outland Whisky: a Scottish character with a truly Jerez soul. Presented in Taiwan, second market in the world in per capita consumption of whisky, Nomad Outland Whisky is succeeding in all the countries where it is currently distributed.
