The Viñas del Vero and Vilarnau wineries have unique wine tourism experiences ready and waiting for lovers of wine, gastronomy and nature. Music, tastings of local products, sunsets in matchless surroundings and, of course, the vineyards, the wineries and the wines will be the focus of these special plans. A whole range of pre-bookable activities and tours that will introduce wine tourists to this world from different perspectives.
Activities based on “responsible wine tourism” that ensure the safety of visitors and guides and that of the wineries’ staff. For a year as from July, tours will be free of charge for healthcare professionals and members of the State Security and Armed Forces as a gesture of gratitude for their work and efforts to contain Covid-19.
From the vineyard to Blecua
Located in Somontano, this winery offers a tour that starts at the beginning, in the vineyard, where visitors will discover how important the vines are are to what the wines become. The tour then continues round what is a very special winery, where Blecua, one of Spain’s great wines, is made and ends with a tasting of some of Blecua’s unique wines paired with the rich local gastronomy.
Sundown in Viñas del Vero’s vineyard
Viñas del Vero has designed a tasting that pairs music and local products with the winery’s most representative wines. The tasting takes place in the matchless setting of a sunset at the foot of the Sierra de Guara with the Pyrenees in the background and surrounded by vines – an opportunity to disconnect and experience the richness and diversity of Somontano.

Discover the organic viticulture techniques practiced at Vilarnau
Located in a spectacular setting in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, surrounded by vineyards and with unique views at sundown, Vilarnau offers a vineyard tour that introduces visitors to the vine’s growing cycle and to the organic viticulture techniques the winery practices. The experience concludes with a view of the sunset from Vilarnau with a glass of cava and a canapé.
Bring the day to a close with after-work drinks and a picnic at Vilarnau
This is Vilarnau’s suggestion to enjoy with family and friends: after-work drinks and a picnic to put the perfect final touches to a summer’s evening. Wine tourists will be able to watch the sunset from the vineyard whilst enjoying Vilarnau’s unique cavas and a selection of ‘0 miles” products.
For little ones and the adventurous
Vilarnau also organizes special tours for little ones, with games in the vineyard designed especially for them. The more adventurous wine tourists are also catered for, with pre-bookable bicycle and segway tours of this organic cava’s vineyards.
