Beronia III a.C. obtained 93 points in the Peñín Guide 2017, one of the most internationally acclaimed Spanish wine publications. The Peñín tasting committee, made up of four wine experts, has recognised the uniqueness and quality of this author’s wine, perfect for aging in the bottle. Made from a selection of old, pre-phylloxera Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano vines, Beronia III a.C. ages for 15 months in new French oak barrels. The result is a bright red wine with a beautiful cherry edge, an intense nose and balanced and persistent on the palate. In addition, Beronia Selección 198 Barricas 2008, a Reserva red wine thoroughly made by using traditional methods, has been awarded 92 points in the same publication.
